Victorian Mosaic Brooch in 20ct Yellow Gold

A stunning Victorian mosiac brooch set in 20ct yellow gold.

"Pietra dura" style. Centre rub-over set with an inlaid piece of 3-rose motif in multi coloured agate/black onyx.  The frame is decorated with cannetille. Glazed panel at rear.

On a hinged gold pin with hook catch and also a foldaway hinged bale with jump ring so it can be worn as a pendant. Presented with a fitted case attributed to West & Son of Dublin.
