This three-piece clock set is comprised of a central mantel clock and a pair of flanking en suite candelabra, all of which are crafted from Sèvres style porcelain mounted with ormolu wrought in the Rococo style.
The mantel clock features a shaped ormolu base moulded and finished with fine Rococo style detailing. The base supports a cobalt blue porcelain vase, which functions as the clock case. The vase is flanked by twin ormolu putti, is mounted to the shoulders with ormolu sand is surmounted by an ornate Cupid form finial. The cobalt blue porcelain vase is parcel gilt with the clock face scene is centred by a circular dial inscribed with Roman numeral hour indices. Fruit bowl design at the top of the vase.
The en suite candelabra are similarly formed and decorated, each vase set above an ormolu base and mounted with satyr head masks. Each candelabrum supports the springing of five lights, each of the ormolu branches ornately scrolled and moulded with foliate detailing.
