Antique Pearl Turquoise Snap Bangle in 9ct Yellow Gold.

This is a special piece created by renowned jewellers Smith and Pepper. Hallmarked for Birmingham, circa 1899-1900. This is from the first year of production and is in very good pre-loved condition.

Etruscan revival style. The face has a marquise shaped shield with flush set cabochon turquoise and seed pearls.Turquoise represents good fortune and rememberance, while seed pearls reresent purity and innocence.

The face is boardered by rows of graduated gold beads.

Hidden boxclasp with safety chain

There is a beautiful matching bar brooch to complete this suite.
