Antique Davenport Writing Desk

This is a classic antique davenport writing desk with green leather top.  Has an inclined lifting desktop attached with hinges to the back of the body.  A large compartment with storage space for papers, laptop, ipad etc. Also inside are four small drawers - two are false as they make way for the gorgeous secret compartment at the side. There are four side drawers on right side with false drawer sides on the left so it looks uniform. Raised on carved serpetine legs. A beautiful piece of history.
