Exceptionally Pretty 19th century French Gilt and Porcelain Clock
Finely painted Sevrés Style porcelain set this clock apart. The delicately painted centre panel depicts courting young couple and it’s porcelain dial painted with a landscape. The metal case is crisply cast and is richly decorated in Louis XVI style.
The clock movement is of high quality and stamped by one of best French makers - Japy Freres. It runs for 8-days and strikes on a bell every half hour. The movement is in excellent clean and running condition - the clock is ready for you to display in your home.
Condition of the porcelain is excellent. The case is also in excellent condition for its age.
